The Vanderbilt Owen Graduate School of Management will host the fifth annual Vanderbilt Health Care Conference at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center on Friday, Nov. 16. The conference will immerse students, professionals and recruiters from across the country in the most critical topics surrounding post-election health care in the United States.
The event is open to the public and the media. Event registration opens at 7:30 a.m. Tickets can be purchased here.

Keynote speakers include leading health care economist Jonathan Gruber. Gruber, who is credited as a key architect of both “Romneycare” and “Obamacare,” will discuss the election’s projected impact on critical health care legislation. He has taught at MIT since 1992 and is the director of the health care program at the National Bureau of Economic Research.
Other speakers include Peter Buerhaus, chair of the U.S. Healthcare Workforce Commission, and Jonathan Bush, CEO of AthenaHealth, and Michael Burcham, president and CEO of the Nashville Entrepreneur Center.

This annual conference is planned and executed by students at the Vanderbilt Owen Graduate School of Management. The event’s distinguishing feature is its Career Fair which features the industry’s most prominent employers and is open to MBA, MHA, MPH, MD or other graduate-level students interested in pursuing careers in the health care industry.
