Vanderbilt’s David Schuman, a senior in the College of Arts and Science, was the Jeopardy! winner Sept. 25 after a nail-biting finish. Schuman is a double major in communications and economics. All three contestants answered the “Final Jeopardy” question incorrectly, but Shuman, 21, came out the victor by wagering only half that of the leader. He defended his title the next night, but was defeated, ending his Jeopardy! run. The episodes were recorded in July.
