ITS is pleased to offer several SharePoint 2010 training options to the Vanderbilt community. In order to meet the different needs of faculty and staff, both online self-paced training and an instructor-led class taught by an outside vendor will be offered.
The online self-paced training is the most popular option. It includes five one-hour classes. The first set of two classes is geared toward those with no experience using SharePoint 2010. The second set of three classes is more advanced. This training is available through SkillSoft and offered at no cost to the community on a first-come, first-served basis.
The second option is an instructor-led class taught by an outside vendor and offered at the Hill Center. There is a cost associated with this class, which is appropriate for someone who is a “power user” or who frequently will be working with SharePoint sites.
