Pearson wins fiction prize for ‘Public Anatomy’

A. Scott Pearson, associate professor of surgery and of medicine, health and society at Vanderbilt, has won the 2012 Benjamin Franklin Award in the Mystery/Suspense category for his novel Public Anatomy.

The 24th annual Benjamin Franklin Awards were announced June 4, honoring excellence in publishing and presented by the Independent Book Publishers Association. The awards were announced in a ceremony preceding Book Expo America, held June 4-7 in New York.
