New AT&T cell site activated on campus, will enhance mobile device coverage

A new AT&T cell site atop the Preston Research Building has been activated. The new site is intended to enhance wireless coverage for mobile devices supported through AT&T services and to meet the growing demand for advanced mobile devices and other applications.
This is the third AT&T cell site covering Vanderbilt University and Vanderbilt University Medical Center. The other two cell sites are located atop the Baker Building and in Hillsboro Village.
