Proposals sought for Creative Campus Innovation Grants

For the second year, the Curb Creative Campus Initiative is seeking proposals for its Creative Campus Innovation Grant program.

Creative Campus Innovation Grants enable faculty, staff and students to develop pilots that produce serendipitous, unexpected campus experiences; spur non-routine conversations and collaborations; illuminate the creative process across disciplines; solve problems; and produce innovative classroom experiences. Proposals are due Thursday, May 31, 2012.

The innovation grant program is one of several signature facets of Vanderbilt’s Creative Campus Initiative, which also includes a Creative Practice Bootcamp, the Spring 2012 HUM 161 Seminar “Creativity and Crisis,” and the Curb Scholars program in Creative Enterprise and Public Leadership. The initiative is generously supported by the Mike Curb Family Foundation and coordinated by the Curb Center at Vanderbilt.
