Free quarterly market update workshop for retirement plan participants

Wondering (or worrying) about how your retirement investments are doing in this economy?

As part of an ongoing service to Vanderbilt Retirement Plan participants, Human Resources offers a variety of free events sponsored by its vendors. Please join us for the next one on May 8 from 5-6 p.m. at the Vanderbilt Marriott Hotel.

Presented by Fidelity, the workshop will give you a unique look at what’s been influencing the financial markets as well as guidance on what it means for you. Topics include:

• Factors affecting the performance of domestic and international equity markets

• Driving forces behind bond-market interest rate and valuation changes

• How to manage your portfolio based on current and historical market activity

The workshop is open to all faculty and staff, regardless of age or participation in a retirement plan. Food and drinks will be served.
