The Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) is accepting applications for investigator positions from outstanding scientists who have demonstrated originality and substantial accomplishments in biomedical research and who show exceptional promise for future achievement and leadership in research. The institute expects to appoint 20-30 new investigators.
The competition is open to scientists who study significant biological problems in all of the biomedical disciplines as well as in adjacent fields such as biophysics, chemical biology, biomedical engineering and computational biology. Plant scientists, experimental evolutionary biologists and patient-oriented researchers are welcome to apply.
Eligibility:
This is an open opportunity. The deadline to establish eligibility at HHMI is 2 p.m. CST May 1; the application deadline to HHMI is 2 p.m. CST June 13. For full details, visit the HHMI website.
