Take part in MLK Weekend of Service tradition

(Vanderbilt University)

Start the year off right by making an impact in your community Jan. 13-15.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. once said, “Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, ‘What are you doing for others?’” Each year, Americans across the country answer that question by coming together on the King holiday to serve their neighbors and communities.

Vanderbilt’s Office of Active Citizenship and Service is sponsoring up to 30 service projects in conjunction with Vanderbilt student service groups, residential houses and other campus programs in commemoration of King.

OACS invites faculty and staff to sign up for a service project today.
