A gathering of the Vanderbilt community for a moment of silence in memory of the 9/11 victims is scheduled Sept. 12 from 12 to 12:15 p.m. on Library Lawn, which is in front of the Central Library.
Vanderbilt ROTC will provide a flag detail for the gathering. Kenny Moore, president of the University Staff Advisory Council (USAC), said this event has been scheduled especially for staff who would not be on campus Sunday for the 9/11 services. This event is open to the entire campus. LifeFlight will do a fly-over pending weather and its availability.
