H.G. Stovall, assistant director of conferences at Vanderbilt, received the Outstanding New Conference and Events Professional Award from the Association of Collegiate Conference and Events Directors-International (ACCED-I) at the ACCED-I 31st Annual Conference in Orlando, Fla.

The award recognizes outstanding work by a newcomer to the collegiate conference and events field.
