Light It Up Blue in April for autism awareness

The Vanderbilt Autism Treatment Network  and Vanderbilt Kennedy Center’s TRIAD join the autism community in promoting awareness during April Autism Awareness Month and throughout the year. The Vanderbilt ATN is organizing Vanderbilt “Light It Up Blue” awareness activities coordinated with Autism Speaks.

The CDC has excellent, free “Learn the Signs—Act Early” materials in English and Spanish for parents, early childhood educators, and health care professionals.

On Sept. 10, the Vanderbilt Kennedy Center and Vanderbilt’s Department of Developmental Medicine will team up as “The Commodore Collaborative” and walk for Autism Speaks at the annual “Walk Now for Autism Speaks.” For more information, visit www.walknowforautismspeaks.org and search for a walk near you, or join our team.
