Elliott appointed to two senior, external research positions

Learning Sciences Institute Director Stephen Elliott was recently appointed to two senior, external research positions. The first is a three-year, renewable appointment to the Education Testing Services Visiting Research Panel. In this role, Elliott and six other leading researchers will be reviewing ETS’ major research initiatives and advising them on needed new initiatives.

The second appointment is as director of research and scientific practice of the Society for the Study of School Psychology, a selective foundation of senior researchers funded by royalties from the Journal of School Psychology. This appointment is also a three-year, renewable appointment.

In addition to his role as Learning Sciences Institute director, Elliott is professor of special education, Dunn Family Chair in Educational and Psychological Assessment and director of the Interdisciplinary Program in Educational Psychology.
