Event recycling and Greening Guides among SustainVU initiatives

A new Holiday Greening Guide is the latest initiative by Vanderbilt’s Office of Sustainability and Environmental Management to encourage everyone to practice the three ‘Rs’ of reduce, reuse and recycle. Efforts to conserve and reduce waste are especially important during the holidays, says Andrea George, director of the Office of Sustainability and Environmental Management. In addition, event recycling is a major priority for her office, which has begun game-day recycling in cooperation with Athletics and Student Life.
