Presented by the Vanderbilt Alumni Association in partnership with the Association of Vanderbilt Black Alumni, this next installment of the ’Dores in Dialogue series will explore decades of the Vanderbilt Black experience through the lens of alumni memories, current student life and new leadership initiatives of the future. 

The event will be opened by AVBA president Alex Atkinson, BE’96, MDiv’01, and the discussion will be moderated by Rosevelt Noble, assistant dean of residential colleges, director of the Bishop Joseph Johnson Black Cultural Center and faculty head of Stambaugh House. 

Panelists include: 

  • Godfrey Dillard, ’70, Vanderbilt Black Student Association president, 1968–69 
  • Kito Huggins, BS’96, JD’99, Board of Trust member and student body president, 1995–96  
  • Hannah Bruns, Class of 2022, Vanderbilt Student Government president, 2021–22
